Library Materials

Walt Whitman

I hear America singing, the varied carols I hear ... Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.

Hampsong’s Library is where the knowledge and information gathered in our Song Projects will be available to as many people as possible – for free, and readily accessible on the Internet.

It is envisioned to become a vast archive of information where lovers of song can discover, learn and share, and together stimulate interest in classical music and the song recital itself.

Our long-term goal is to curate an Archive of American Song, one that fully accounts for its development, making scores, CDs and DVDs, streaming audio and video, books, essays and other materials available to performers, students, and the public alike.
