A multi-layer project exploring songs by Antonín Dvořák, as well as Liszt, Mahler, Strauss, Burleigh, Farwell, Cadman, MacDowell, Ives, Grieg and Brahms

This project includes:

• a concert program from the Salzburg Festival with:
  • works of visual art and photography
  • an essay by Jens Malte Fischer: “Vom Zauber der Menschlichen Stimme: Antonín Dvořák und das Liedschaffen seiner Zeit” (only in German)
  • an essay by Richard Wigmore: “Antonín Dvořák and the Songs of His Time”
  • all song texts in both English and German
  • biographies of the performers: Thomas Hampson, Barbara Bonney, Michelle Breedt, Georg Zeppenfeld and Wolfram Rieger
