This fall, we were proud to support the Ernst Bacon Society, the Baltimore Lieder Weekend, and Sparks & Wiry Cries.

Although the Hampsong Foundation is not primarily a grant-giving institution, we are happy to help our colleagues in small ways, and with modest financial gifts, when possible. This fall, we were very proud to support the following endeavors:

• the continuation of the Ernst Bacon Society’s Ernst Bacon Prize for American Song
• the Baltimore Lieder Weekend’s 2016 festival on the theme Schubert in 1828
• updates to and an expansion of resources on the song blog Sparks & Wiry Cries
