The repertoire focus in this phase of the Liedakademie’s work is on the “American Song”. Together with Christie Finn (Managing Director of the Hampsong Foundation), Thomas Hampson will immerse the audience and scholarship holders in his digital archive Song of America, a project of the Hampsong Foundation that comprehensively documents the tradition and cultural background of American song.
