The Hampsong Foundation supports many organizations and individuals in collaborations with a variety of partners.
The 2017 Hampsong Education Fellowship in American Song, presented in conjunction with the Society for American Music, was awarded to Dr. Candace Bailey for her project project “Music in Charleston’s Historic Homes.” She is a Professor of Music at North Carolina Central University.
The 2017 Sister Marietta Coyle Award winner is the young baritone Michael Sinitsa, currently a graduate student at Eastern Washington University. This award funds scholarships to attend Musicfest Northwest in Spokane, Washington.
The 2016 Thomas Hampson Fund Award, given by the American Musicological Society at the end of 2016, was awarded to Natasha Loges (Royal College of Music) for her Brahms and His Poets.
